Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission (ESSC), has lauded Governor Monday Okpebholo on his first 100 days in office, commending his contributions to sports development in the state.

In a statement issued by his media aide, Edoko Wilson Edoko, Hon. Enabulele praised  the governor’s leadership, highlighting his administration’s focus on grassroots sports development and increased support for local athletes and teams.

“Your leadership has already begun transforming the sports landscape in Edo State,” he noted, emphasizing the governor’s commitment to initiatives such as the upcoming South-South eliminations for the National Sports Festival and the Edo State Sports Festival. 

He described these efforts as a testament to Governor Okpebholo’s dedication to repositioning Edo as a leading sports hub commending the administration’s impact on the state’s sporting fortunes, 

“We are witnessing a renewed focus on sports, empowering our athletes and coaches while positioning Edo State as a formidable force in national and international competitions.”

He reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with the governor to strengthen the sports sector and sustain Edo State’s dominance across various sporting disciplines.

 He also acknowledged the rising success of Bendel Insurance FC and Edo Queens, attributing their achievements to Governor Okpebholo’s sports-friendly policies.
