Congress: Hon Abraham Ochoga Emerges Ado LGA PDP Chair

Hon Abraham Ochoga, a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Thursday emerged the new party’s chairman of Ado Local Government Area of Benue State. 

At a well attended Congress of the party held at Igumale, the administrative headquarters of the Council recorded large turn out of party faithfuls and  supporters who witnessed the peaceful Congress. 

The only top contender in the race for the championship position in Ado, Hon. Agbese Onwe aka Sir-war stepdown for Hon Abraham Ochoga which was widely accepted by all party members and he was subsequently declared winner amid jubilation.

Ochoga, a young political leader and immediate past Apa ward PDP Chairman, with a track record of community services, expressed gratitude to the party members for their overwhelming support.

 In his acceptance speech, he emphasized the need for unity and collaboration among party members to strengthen the PDP’s presence in Ado Local Government.

He also outlined his vision for the party, focusing on grassroots mobilization, youth engagement, and enhancing the welfare of party members.

He promised to lead the PDP in Ado Local Government with a commitment to transparency, accountability, and progress.

The congress was marked by a spirit of camaraderie and enthusiasm, as party members rallied behind their new leader.

 Observers noted that Ochoga’s election signal a new era for the PDP in Ado, as he aims to revitalize the party’s activities and foster a more inclusive political environment.
