Saintmoses Eromosele, a Nigerian researcher and entrepreneur, has been selected to speak at the 11th European Academy of Paediatric Societies (EAPS) Congress, set to take place in Lisbon, Portugal, from October 18 to 20, 2025.
Eromosele will present findings from his recent academic work titled “Reimagining Childhood in the Digital Era: A Social Inquiry into Media Dependency among Urban Nigerian Minors,” during a specialised oral session tagged “The Dual Impact of Digital Innovation.” His study explores the influence of early digital media use on the social development and behavioural patterns of children in Nigerian cities.
He noted that the opportunity will help introduce African-grounded insights into global conversations on child development and digital technology. He described the invitation as a step forward in representing under-researched regions in international policy discourse.
Eromosele is an alumnus of Ambrose Alli University, where he studied Law. He is currently enrolled in Economics at Benson Idahosa University and also pursuing Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Benin. He has previously studied Procurement Management at the University of Benin.
He heads GIVITEC GROUP, a diversified Nigerian enterprise with interests in digital education, healthcare innovation, real estate, publishing, and technology services.
The EAPS Congress is recognised as one of Europe’s most prominent gatherings on paediatric research and innovation, bringing together experts, academics, and health professionals from across the globe.
