Wells Carlton Hotel & Apartments has announced plans for a four-day event to mark Nigeria’s Independence, combining cultural entertainment with discounted luxury accommodation.
The celebration, tagged “Afro Independence Staycation,” will run from September 29 to October 2 2025 at the hotel in Abuja.
According to details released by the management, the event will feature a Nigerian Afro-fusion buffet, performances by an Afro-classic live band, and karaoke sessions with Afro-inspired songs.
The hotel disclosed that tickets are priced at ₦50,000 for singles and ₦90,000 for couples.
In addition, guests booking two nights will receive a third night at half the price. Other incentives include free room upgrades for early reservations and late checkout on October 2, extended until 2:00 p.m.
Management also revealed that a specially designed “Independence Selfie Corner” will be available for guests as part of the celebration.
The Wells Carlton said the initiative is designed to give Abuja residents and visitors “a memorable Independence holiday experience that combines culture, entertainment, and hospitality.”
