In an explosive revelation that has left fans in shock, billionaire politician and lawyer Senator Ned Nwoko has opened up about his crumbling marriage to actress Regina Daniels, spilling details of drug addiction, family interference, and massive financial support gone wrong.

“These videos show Sammy, Regina’s brother, repeatedly coming to my home and harassing my children and domestic staff, especially whenever I was not around,” Nwoko revealed. “His visits were often aggressive and disruptive.”

The senator said he had gone out of his way to support his in-laws, financing their lifestyle long before and during his marriage to the Nollywood star.

“This is someone I sponsored through his last two years at the University of Ekpoma. I bought his musical instruments, rented and furnished a flat for him in Abuja, and even bought a house for Regina in Asaba before our marriage for the use of all of them. I also routinely provided allowances to all members of the family, including her mother, Rita Daniels. Indeed, in the last two years, I have records of transferring ₦125 million to her alone.”

Addiction, Family Drama, and Betrayal

Nwoko says the marital crisis worsened when Regina allegedly developed a dependence on illegal substances, which led doctors to prescribe strict rehabilitation guidelines — instructions he claims her siblings and friends defied.

“When Regina started her rehabilitation, the doctors clearly instructed that access to her should be restricted, especially from those enabling her habit. But Sammy, Destiny, and others constantly defied those orders,” he lamented.

“They would sneak in, sometimes forcing their way into the house, bringing her the same drugs she was being treated for. Instead of helping her recover, they encouraged her addiction.”

The senator, who describes himself as a vegetarian who neither drinks nor smokes, said he found their lifestyle “reprehensible and totally unacceptable.”

He alleged that “Lawrence and Sammy were the ones who first introduced Regina to the drugs,” claiming they also used the substances themselves.

Midnight Fights and Viral Videos

Nwoko recounted a disturbing 4 a.m. encounter that, he says, showed how deep the problem had become.“I woke up around 4 a.m. and found Regina in my room, clearly high. She said Sammy’s girlfriend was in her room — someone who had been banned from coming near her because she was one of the enablers.

I told Regina that the girl had to leave, and one of my drivers dropped her off. Thirty minutes later, Sammy stormed my house, shouting and demanding that I face him. He was ranting, threatening, and waking up everyone — even the children.”

He claims that this was not an isolated incident, describing a pattern of violent confrontations, police intimidation, and reckless nightlife behavior.

“There were at least two serious incidents where she left home in the evening and didn’t return until the next day,” he said. “When I questioned her, she snapped, saying, ‘You’re not my father, don’t ask me where I was.’”

According to him, Regina’s friends and siblings continued to sabotage her recovery, often bringing drugs into his home despite police and therapist warnings.

“I Took So Much Nonsense — For the Kids”

The lawmaker said he endured repeated humiliation just to protect his children.

“I took so much nonsense just for the sake of the kids. I also knew drugs had a lot to do with her behavior,” he stated. “Her mother and she would say it’s all part of a celebrity lifestyle. They even mentioned two famous pop stars as examples.”

Nwoko also dismissed claims that he sent thugs to assault Regina, insisting that the viral video circulating online was “staged.”

“The video was filmed entirely in front of my house by Regina’s sister and her friend. It was a pure Nollywood scenario, in my absence. Nobody was beaten,” he said. “They took away my phone, money, and other items — all while my kids were inside.”

“Sammy Needs Rehabilitation”

In a final note of frustration, Nwoko said Regina’s brother, Sammy, needs help before his violent behavior escalates.

“He has been arrested several times by the police and the EFCC. I once offered to send him abroad for a master’s degree, but he refused. He needs a total rehab; otherwise, his violent behavior will continue.”

From buying luxury homes to transferring millions to his in-laws, Senator Ned Nwoko says he gave everything  love, money, and patience  only to be repaid with betrayal, addiction, and public disgrace.

“Imagine the pain of a husband trying to help his wife recover, only to have the process sabotaged by her own family,” he concluded.
