Popular Nigerian singer and “Jagajaga” crooner, Eedris Abdulkareem, has commended Governor Monday Okpebholo for what he described as impressive infrastructural development across Edo State, declaring that his music will soon reflect the governor’s achievements.
Abdulkareem, who was conducted round key projects on Tuesday by the State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Prince Kassim Afegbua, expressed satisfaction with the pace of development, noting that what he had seen would form the basis of an upcoming musical project.
The inspection tour covered major infrastructural projects, including the Sapele Road flyover at Adesuwa junction, road construction at NEPA junction, Ramat Park flyover, and other ongoing works in Temboga and its environs.
Speaking with journalists at the end of the tour, the veteran rapper said he was impressed by the scale and quality of projects executed by the Okpebholo-led administration, adding that he would return to the state for a more extensive documentation.
According to him, having recently concluded a two-month musical documentary project in Abia State, he intends to spend about three weeks in Edo to further capture developmental strides through his music and visuals.
He maintained that as an artist known for social commentary, his works would objectively reflect realities on ground, whether positive or otherwise.
“I speak with my music. What I have seen in Edo State will be reflected in my next project. If there are good things, my music will carry it, and from what I have seen, the government is on the right track.”

I have gone round Edo State and have seen what the governor has done for Edo people.
