The All Progressives Congress, APC candidate in the September 21st governorship election, Senator Monday Okpebholo on Wednesday visited the family of Inspector Akor Onu in Abuja who was violently murdered in cold blood last week Thursday during the brutal attack on the convoy of Senator Okpebholo by suspected thugs.
It will be recalled that on Thursday last week the motorcade of Senator Monday Okpebholo who is the APC governorship candidate was attacked. His police details Inspector Akor Onuh was hit by a bullet which claimed his life.
Okpebholo in his condolence message by his Legislative aide on media & Communication, Godswill Inegbe assured the family of slain police that the dream of their father to train his children to University level become a reality
“One of your father’s dreams was for all of you to become graduates in order to have a better future. I will not let that dream to die with him and I wont allow his killers to also kill that dream. From this moment, I will be personally be responsible for your education till university level.
“I want to seize this painful moment to assure you all, that I will not rest until the killers of your father are brought to justice.”
Senator Okpebholo gave a welfare package to the wife of the slain Inspector Onu and promised to cater for them.
