The Ado Local Government All Progressives Congress (APC) has hailed Governor Hyacinth Alia over the appointment of Dr. (Mrs) Diana Agbenu Ochoga as a council member of the state owned Benue tate University, (BSU) Makurdi.
Prior to her appointment, Dr Diana Agbenu Ochoga had served as the Registrar of Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo for a period of nine years.
She was also appointed as Commissioner for Women’s Affairs, Youth, Sports and Information under the then administration of Governor Gabriel Susan.
Ado APC in a statement endorsed by the Senior Special Assistant, (SSA) to the APC chairman on Media & Publicity, Comr. Otsonu Wisdom Echo, described the appointment as “well deserved”.
The party thanked and appreciates His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormen Alia for always placing efficiency and prudence above anything in his selection process into public office sees the appointment as a well-deserved and welcome development.
They party noted that the appointment is a clear deposition of the wealth of experience she has gathered over the years in her chosen profession.
