The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Benin Branch, also known as the Lion Bar, is set to launch its 2025 Law Week with a Fitness Walk and Fitness Awareness session scheduled for Saturday, July 12, 2025.
According to a member of the organizing committee, Barrister Douglas Ogbankwa said the event will take place at the NBA Benin Bar House, starting with a walk to the city centre-ring road, Benin City, and back.
This year’s Law Week is themed “Restoring Credible Justice: Bridging the Gap between Law and Public Trust in Nigerian Judiciary”.
According to the Secretary of the NBA Benin 2025 Law Week Organising Committee, the fitness awareness session aims to sensitize lawyers on the importance of balancing work and healthy living, given their demanding profession.
Highlights of the Event includes, Fitness Walk free medical checks, Health Talk and Law Week Activities,
The event promises to be an engaging and thought-provoking experience, bringing together legal professionals to discuss critical issues affecting the judiciary and the legal profession
