Megastar Communications, publishers of Megastar Magazine, on Friday honoured Senator Neda Imasuen, representing Edo South Senatorial District, with the prestigious ‘Man of the Decade – Excellence in Grassroots Representation’ award.
The high-profile event, held in Abuja and broadcast live on Channels Television and Arise News, drew a capacity audience including the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa; Senator Gbenga Daniel; industry leaders; and political stakeholders.
Senator Imasuen, who chairs the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions in the 10th Senate, was recognized for his people-oriented leadership, commitment to ethical governance, and consistent impact at the grassroots level.
Speaking as a panelist during the event, Imasuen emphasized the importance of civic education from an early age to instill nationalism and active citizenship among Nigerians.
He also called for increased citizen participation and transparency in governance as tools for rebuilding public trust.
In his acceptance speech, Senator Imasuen dedicated the award to the people of Edo South and the entire Edo State, appreciating their trust and mandate to serve.
